Amazing wood grain!! Swirls of gold and deep nutmeg colors. This is a handmade wooden “spurtle” with a modern twist. Perfect for mixing wet doughs like sourdoughs or bread doughs. Made by hand here in Montana, in a tiny woodshop. Carved by my dear friend Susan Gellner, who meticulously crafts each wooden spoon & spurtle. This spurtle is shaped out of mesquite wood with beautiful grain and rich color. It is “spalted” and therefore full of swirled color. Harvested, dried, & carved right here in Montana.
