Walnut bowl with locally-harvested ash wood lid. This bowl has a magic to it that Robbie and I agree is a favorite of ours. Hand-turned by Eldon Foster. The bowl is branded with his ranch-brand dating back to the early 1900s. Use this bowl as a serving bowl, a storage bowl... so many possibilities. A beautiful gift to share some Montana handmade goodness.
In our ancestor's day, wooden storage bowls were far more used & could be made at home--common practice in the days before the factory. A lost art today, turning wooden bowls from native Montana woods is Eldon Foster's speciality. He works from his shop, out on his Montana ranch.
